Delivery Information
Certificate of Insurance
Some apartment buildings, managing agents and private estates will only let a delivery team on site once they have seen the company’s insurance details. If your building asks for this, we can email you a certificate of insurance for our delivery team before your delivery date.
- 5 working days Minimum notice before your delivery date.
- 10 working days For deliveries outside our standard delivery area.
- Sent by email Your certificate arrives before our team does.
- Check your building Ask your managing agent or concierge whether it is needed.
How it works
Requesting your certificate
Book your delivery with enough notice
Choose a delivery date at least 5 working days away (10 working days if you are outside our standard delivery area), so we have time to prepare the certificate.
Get your building’s requirements
Ask your managing agent, residents’ association, freeholder or building manager exactly what they need from a delivery company. Requirements vary from building to building, so please get them in writing.
Send us your request
Email your order number and your building’s requirements no later than 5 working days before delivery (10 working days outside our standard delivery area). Attaching the building’s own document is the quickest way to avoid delays.
Receive your certificate by email
We will email the certificate of insurance to you before our delivery team arrives.
Check it with your building
Pass the certificate to your building manager or concierge and confirm it meets their requirements before the delivery day, so our team can be let in without delay.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does every delivery need a certificate of insurance?
No. Most homes don’t need one. It is usually only requested by apartment buildings, gated developments or estates with a managing agent or concierge.
Is there a charge for the certificate?
No, we provide it free of charge when it is requested with the required notice.
My building needs to book the lift or loading bay – can you help?
Yes. Include the access details in your request and we will plan the delivery around them. Lift or loading bay bookings with your building are made by you.
What if my delivery date changes?
Let us know straight away. If the certificate shows a date, we may need to reissue it, so the notice period applies to the new date.
